So this year I was trying to find a pumpkin patch that we

could "PICK" our own Pumpkins, And I did see a couple.

As I was driving I came across one on SR73 in Lehi

and it said, "Pick your own pumpkins" Awesome, right!

Well, it was "PICK your own pumpkin" right out of the

corn field!?!? Oh well , It was fun! Lol

For the life of me I couldn't get Paige to pick up a pumpkin,

There goes another Summer! I can't believe that Summer blew threw here that fast!
We were crazy busy this year! We Drove to Florida and back, stopping at some awesome sight's on the way! We went to St. George and LasVegas. Went camping, went swimming, went to Eagle Mountain days. Went to cheer practice and fundraisers , had cousins over to sleep and play! Watched movies outside with our favorite friends, the Abbott's, had BBQ's and just hung out all night long!It was a good Summer and it will be missed!!!!

Paige had a root canal over a year ago, So we thought!

His got a bad tooth ache last Saturday while we were camping,

it was so bad that he was crying!

Anyways, We came home and took him to the dentist and

found out that he never had the root canal and that the tooth

had an abscess. It was horrible! Unfortunately for Paige I

took this picture to show how swollen his face got!

He finally got it pulled on Friday,poor guy!

Let this be a lesson, always make sure you know

what your dentist has truly done!

OK, So I signed myself up for "Facebook" about 6 months ago but I forgot my password so I never bothered getting back on. Well I have this friend JULIE that I work with and she had invited me to be her Friend on facebook, but sense I didn't know my password I wouldn't be her friend. So then more people found me and wanted me to be there friends(Because I am so popular) and so it was time. I have now been on facebook for one week and I now spend most of the night looking for friend, posting and doing whatever else I can come up with!

This is sooooo...time consuming and need I say very addicting. That's right I am addicted to facebook! So I caution you ...if you have been asked to be a friend, DON'T DO IT!!! Unless it was a request from me.

MY KIDS ARE YET AGAIN SICK!!! 2 Am Monday morning I am awoke to a child's voices screaming"help, help, please help me mom" So I run through the house to Maddie's room only to find 1 Maddie vomiting all over her bed and 2 my boob has popped out of my garments as I was running. In that moment I knew this week was going to be PURE HELL!!As if that wasn't enough Paige came home from school with a fever and vomiting that night. Sense then there has been no break from washing sheets, washing Maddie's hair (cause she has vomited in it) cleaning the toilets, making dinner only so they can vomit that right up. Needless to say it has been a shitty week!!! Mike owes me big! He has the weekend and with my luck they will be better by then! Any way that is my week in review. Thanks for listening.

Have you ever just had one of those days? Well, I have had one of those months! As you have or will read I have had kidney stone forever!!! I got real sick on Friday, so off I went to the E.R., YUK!!! After pain management(Morphine) and a CT scan I found out not only do I, Kate Jackson have stones, I also have a build up of adhesion's. That means surgery! I left feeling much better & ready to pass my stone, But then Saturday morning happened. Mike and I have done NO Christmas shopping so this was going to be the day. It started out good, until we hit Lehi, that's when the vomiting started. So then we went to get something to eat thinking my tummy was empty, twice I threw up in the bathroom. Long story short, after Mike thought my eyes were ready to pop out of my head because I was vomiting so hard we decided to go back home. I went to bed and I could care less about anyone or anything. I woke this morning and I fill much better. Thank you anti-nausea meds. and 7up!

Well...this is the kicker!!! I had forgot I was allergic to morphine and that is why I woke up so sick. Crap, one of those things you better remember!I now believe the worst is over and good times are on the horizon!

KIDNEY STONES

Let me tell you a little something about my situation. It all began last week. Saturday I awoke in some pretty horrible pain. Now I have heard it said, that passing a kidney stone is worse than having a baby. Fortunate enough for me I had both my kids c-section, and let me tell you something that was a huge blessing ,because if having a baby is this painful...thank goodness for my c-sections.

Long story short I went to the doc. in the morning and she was a IDIOT. She wanted to run all of these tests and wouldn't give me anything but a stupid shot. I came home took a xanex and slept until five and then woke up in extreme pain, called my mommy and off we went to the insta-care. They were much kinder, the Doc. there pushed on my kidney were I scram in agony and decided that I would go home and try and pass that "Little evil thing". He being kind gave me a shot of pain meds and some for the rode and off I went.

I have been sleeping and sleeping and waiting and waiting for that Little evil sucker to show itself, but like a coward it won't come out.

Be patient and understanding if I don't want to talk on the phone or text or even let you come and hang out. I'm in alot of pain and very drugged up.

There will be an end to this and I'm praying for that to come soon!!

so I had to share them. All of our family went tubing on
New Years Eve. Everyone was down here for Tony's
farewell. We had an absolute blast!!!Until everyone went home.

OK so I have to admit one thing, Maddie hated every moment
of tubing. She said her Tootsie were about frozen off. I am

The cheese thief

I was in Holiday gas station after work today, as I was standing in line there was some commotion, then the guy that was helping me left. Now I know what your thinking, it wasn't a robbery. Anyways there was this young Hispanic kid who had stolen four string cheese sticks. Well you see this kid was about 18 he had clothes on that made me believe that he had been working. I'm not to sure why I got so emotional (maybe it's the whole Sara Eckels trauma) but I was real upset. There was an off duty cop there and he took the boy in the back to search him. So the big mouth that I am spoke up and told the cashier that I would pay for the cheese. He would have no part of that which made very mad!!! I then said come on he is hungry let me buy the dam cheese!!! Well then the lady behind me said in a disgusted voice " come on". That made me more mad so I said, " come on you have a freaken soda and a candy bar" For hell sake's he stole cheese!!! I then preceded to tell the cashier that if he wouldn't let me buy the cheese this would be my last visit. It's was my last visit!!!

This has been on my mind all day long. I do know and understand that stealing is very wrong, but and yes here is a but...this boy was hungry and obviously had been working hard. I think that we all get so dang caught up in our own problems and woe's that we forget about others. w I still feel for him and today I was taught a huge lesson at the cost of someone else. I know you will all most likely disagree, I don't really care! My heart still fills very sad that someone was so hungry that they had to steel string cheese. Tonight I was invited to a Mary Kay "make over". Well the fun part of this is the fact that I wore Mary Kay for 12 years and I sold it. This was a trap if I ever saw one. I went purely to watch my sister Jill's eye's bulge when she found out the price of this product. So lucky for me I knew all the right things to say and when to leave. I even won a lip gloss!!! Sorry that I gave you all up as referrals. But my lips will be so pretty!!! I now remember why I'm not a salesperson!!!

So when I was a little girl i would go to

Grandpa's house and the whole time i

was there I would live in this tree. I could

climb it with no problem. Well I was watching

Paige climb it and I got a little jealous, So...

if you know me you know that I got off

my big butt and dang it I climbed that tree!!!

The tree and I bonded like we hadn't ever

before. And the coolest part. Paige didn't think

I would be able to climb that tree!!!

Fall break

Our Fall break was FUN!!! Well Smelly and fun! We
went to visit my Grandpa who is 93, although he is very
awesome, sweet and the most incredible man in the world
he has a thing for old decrepit animals. We stay at his house
and it is like a mine field, that is a mine field full of poop.
Grandpa would be offended if we didn't stay there so....
we leave alot and eat out always!!! So we always hang out
at the red rock. I guess you can say we make the best of it!!!
I love you Grandpa!!!

Whats that falling from the sky?

I had heard on the news that this weekend we were

suppose to get snow. And sure enough Saturday morning

it stared.

But what I wasn't expecting was it to continue

on to Sunday morning.

My poor freezing pumpkins...What did they do to deserve this?

I HATE snow!!! It is messy, wet and cold. And to think

I chose to live in Utah.

I think we skipped right over Fall!!! Ugh!

How dare you say my dress is ugly!!!

Oh man that train was the thing that I

was looking for in a dress. It was so dang long!!

I loved it sooooo...much.

OK here's the deal...My gal pal Julie and I were comparing

dresses on day, She told me that my dress was UGLY!!!

Can you believe that. I was insulted!!! I was so sure that

I was such an beautiful bride and my dress was defiantly

the most fabulous thing on this earth. Now take in

consideration my dress is from the early 90's where

lots of beads and lace were the style.

I still love my dress!!! But I want your impute, you can vote.

Is my dress ugly or is it as pretty, as I believe it is?

It had beads galor. Someone put alot of

hours into sewing them all on.

This sleeve is what sold me the dress.

I feel in love with the design and of course

those darn beads again!

Home alone

So its so true I am home alone. Michael's work takes all the superintendents on a company retreat, this year they went to Canada to go fishing. So...I got to hang out with the kids. Hanging out with the kids is great fun but it does have its faults. I suppose I am a butt when Michael is gone I HATE sleeping alone, HATE it!!! I am a nervous sleeper and I am so sure that someone is going to break in and kill me! Now don't fret, I have a plan...I put Paige and Maddie in my room, The cats and dogs are left out they also sleep with us. Then I lock the door and make sure I have a great weapon by my bed. I also have my cell phone and my bedroom window open so Tracy can hear my cries for help!!! What a fantastic plan!!! So now can you see why I hate staying home alone? I'm a freak!!! And then I was thinking how unfair it is that I am the one home alone. As if I don't need a little alone time myself. What there was that girls vacation to Chicago to see Oprah. Four years ago!!! Its time for a little R&R for me too. Anyways Michael gets home tomorrow and life will be running smoothly. I do miss my man a ton and time away makes me appreciate him alot more. Well thank you all for listening to me and all of my worries.

couldn't keep her anymore an d they

were going to put her to sleep. Well

if you know me well if...so Hanna is

now a part of our family. We love her.

She also loves being out side so that's

a plus for us!!

Michael went camping and so we went camping too...

in my bed. We popped in a movie, made banana splits

and some of us got NO sleep. But the idea was great!!!

Alright family and friend I am caught up from summer!!! We had an adventful summer as you can see. Maddie asked if she could make dinner

all by herself. So of course I jumped on

that. She choose a recipe that Grandmother

had given us and went to work!!! It turned out

yummo and the best part for her was...if you

make dinner you don't have to clean the kitchen

afterwards. I think we have a Rachel Ray on our hands.

This is a keeper. We love this pasta bake.

During the summer we ither do two things when

the stars come out...we watch a movie in our

backyards(mine and tracys) or we watch the stars.

It's pretty cool too, Tracy has a projecter so

it is if we are at the drive in movie!!!

I have been truly Blessed to have Tracy as my

one of my bff and my back yard neighbor.

Maddie adores her and her kids. Are kids act

more like brother and sisters. We LOVE the

Abbott's!!!

Camping among the sheep

So I am such an mean Mom!!! WE went camping with

Michael's friends and where we went camping were at

least 500 sheep. Well these sheep were sooooo...close

to us and I couldn't stand not being able to touch them

soooo.....as Maddie, I and Michael's friends daughter

were four Wheeling we came upon these sheep. So of course I

made Maddie jump off the four wheeler and chase

the sheep. If you are wondering, she never was able to

get close enough to touch them.

I entered a raffle at the fair and I won my own pool party for my family plus ten other families. The city provided the BBQ and the pool. It was alot of fun. invited some of our closest friend and played all night long. What a blast. Thank you Eagle mountain.

Once again it was time for us to travel 1500 miles to Kokomo Indiana

and visit with our favorite Jackson's.

We had a blast!!! We hung out, ate and ate some more, Sang karaoke

cooked and we cant forget the bad mitten competitions.

We can't Wait until next Year!!!

So we started summer off with Paige's baseball games. His team not only was featured on "Dancing with the Stars" But they also took second in city and

Dose'nt Maddie look all grown up?

Paige turned into a man over night. Boo-hoo!!

So first of I am soooooooooo... sorry for those of you that had to look at my moms dog FOREVER! We are back in school. That was a short summer. So Paige is in eighth grade and at a different school this year and Love's it so far. Maybe, just maybe we will see some excellent grade's from him this year!!! Madison is still going to Lakeview, she is in fifth grade and has an awesome teacher, Mr. McNeil. She likes him alot and has something fabulous to say about him on a daily basis. I also went back to school for my second year. I am working at Lakeview again and so far so good. I went from being a second grade aide to being a forth grade aide.

I have learned alot from the forth grader's, I have learned that they know EVERYTHING and thy can't shut there tiny mouth's. This may actually determine if I work next year. Wish me luck . So anyway here are pictures of the kids on the first day of school, actually you caught me I was to busy in the morning to take pics., So they are our "I survived the first day of school" pics.

Well I promise to blog at least weekly so Julie will stop complaining about the ugly dog.

So the other day Mike shows up with this adorable

kitty.(much to our surprise)We had our cat Joey

get sick and die within days of us coming home

from our vacation.Joey was Paige's beloved cat and

has been sourly missed.

So even though we miss Joey we are so glad

to have ROXY the kitty in our home. Trust

me a kitten brings a whole new energy to your

house!

on Pensacola, Florida beach on the

way home from our vacation.

It was so beautiful and the sand is so white but...it is as if the

seagull are starving. They would

hover and attack you at any chance

they had!We were very surprised that they did'nt carry Mike away!
